    Hi Team,

    Market Samurai version 0.71 has just been released.

    To upgrade to this version, run Market Samurai. It will automatically check for updates.

    Version 0.71 focuses on stomping on bugs inside Market Samurai - specifically around Keyword Research. So if you've had any troubles with retrieving Adwords data, Organic Traffic data, adding keywords manually, Market Samurai Project files (.MSAM files) becoming corrupted and not opening, or Market Samurai freezing... Then Market Samurai should now work as is should in these areas.

    It also contains more in-depth "debugging" logging.

    These debugging features are tucked away - and probably aren't worth worrying too much unless one of our support staff tells you what to do. But they will give us much more in-depth insights into what Market Samurai is doing so that we can trace some of the more intermittent and elusive bugs (such as Backlink Analysis data - PageRank and Anchor Text - occasionally not coming back, and SEOC data occasionally showing zeroes)

    FINAL NOTE: Just quickly, there's been a change (outside of the Market Samurai system) in the way that OCI data is delivered. This means Market Samurai may be excessively slow to gather OCI data, or this data gathering step may fail completely.

    This change occurred while we were distributing the Market Samurai v0.71 update - so we weren't able to get to it for this update... But our engineers are busily working on a solution, and another update should be released shortly.

    The next 4 major updates we're gunning for are:

    1) A solution to the Non-English country bug
    2) A final enhancement to the existing registration system (before we "flick the switch" and make everyone's copy of Market Samurai require a trial or paid registration key);
    3) A solution to the Backlink PageRank Analysis bug (currently diagnosing the cause... v0.71 included a debugging feature designed to trace this)
    4) A solution to the Backlink Anchor Text Analysis bug (similar in function to #3, and believed to have the same cause)

    After this, Market Samurai will be very stable (this will solve all known and significant outstanding bugs) and we'll be able to put more effort into feature enhancements.

    Market Samurai v0.74 has been released.

    Updates include:

    - Fixed filtering bugs in Keyword Research.
    - Fixed pingback HTML generating incorrect table code.
    - Fixed backlinks analysis problem where URL contains reserved characters such as "?"

    v0.77 has been released.

    - Fixed a bug with a change in the yahoo xml that affects fetching backlinks.
    - Fixed a bug with seo competition that would cache zeros when proxy was banned.

    v0.79 has been released.

    - MAJOR performance improvements with proxies that get used to fetch SEOC (SEO Competition Data). You should see much improved proxy performance.
    - MAJOR improvement to the performance of large SEO Digger queries, or any keyword analysis that involves lots of keywords (over 500),
    - Bug fix in the SEO Competition module where pressing anchor text analysis after pr analysis would double or triple the number of pr links.
    - Various other bug fixes such as SEO Competition google searches now ignore inline ads and "special" search results such as Google Books, etc.

    v0.79.1 has been released

    Updates include:
    - More countries available for traffic data
    - GoArticles captcha solution created
    - Fix for SEO Competition results for users based in the U.K. (includes SEOC update)
    - Fix to user agents to improve reliability and quality of data retrieved
    - Market Samurai now auto-centers itself on screen upon startup.

    v0.80.2/3 was a pair of releases (put out in quick succession).

    - Broad, Phrase, Exact Match Data
    - Improved Negative Keyword Speed
    - PBR (Phrase-to-Broad-Match) indicator added
    - SEO Analysis colour-blindness solution altered to remove flags from view (making results easier to read)
    - BLD/BLP (Domain Backlinks / Page Backlinks) colouring altered. Weight of BLD lowered. Focus shifted to BLP as the primary indicator of a high-quality article.
    - Fixed Bug: Regional language issue caused problems with SEO Analysis

    Other major updates are in progress right now, and will be released over the coming 3 weeks.

    0.80.15 fixes:
    - Localized SEO Competition improvements - (new "SEOLC" and "SEOLTC" - SEO Local Competition and SEO Local Title Competition).
    - Numbers will update on re-analyzed after changing country settings in the Market Samurai project.
    - SEO Competition numbers are clickable
    - Fixed issue in registration system
    - Additional minor bug fixes

    Hi all,

    Just giving an update on historic and current updates since Brent last posted.

    0.80.16 included minor bug fixes and changes in line with 0.80.15.

    0.80.17 fixed SEO Competition filter checkboxes.

    0.80.18 give you the ability to add custom URLs.

    0.80.19 fixed an issue with on-page SEO factors, meaning less false negatives. This is a bug report we've heard from a few users, and we thank you for your feedback.

    0.80.20 corrected some issues with Google searches, and added the "View results in Google" button. We've also made additional steps to ensuring we retrieve localised results more accurately. SEOLC and SEOLTC are also a part of exports from Keyword Research.

    0.80.21 fixed another bug with on-page SEO factors.

    0.80.22 (today) corrects registration issues which a few users have experienced (involving paid users appearing as trials, or being unable to activate).

    0.80.24 fixes the way global (All Countries and Territories) data was retrieved (due to a bug in 0.80.23).

    0.81 upgrades to a new, faster underlying-engine.

    0.81.1~4 make various fixes to the engine, including error message updates, proxy engine fixes and solves issues where Market Samurai had a tendency to freeze when collecting large amounts of data.
