Google Synonym Tool - generated keywords will come from the Google Synonym Tool

Google Search Keywords - generated keywords will come from the Google Search Keywords Tool

Add Permutations - adds every possible combination of words in the seed keyword to the keyword list

e.g. if your seed keyword is "fishing for trout" and you hit 'Add Permutations' then you will see the following added to the list
fishing for trout
fishing trout for
trout for fishing
trout fishing for
for fishing trout
for trout fishing

Phrase Length - minimum and maximum number of words allowed in a keyword phrase

Organic SEO

Searches (Total Searches) - The daily number of people who search for a particular keyword

e.g. if your keyword returns the number 123,090 then on average that keyword is searched 123,090 times per day

SEOT (SEO Traffic) - The maximum potential daily clicks that a #1 ranked site for this keyword term could potentially achieve. Indicator of potential traffic value of a keyword.
This figure is directly proportional to the Searches value (calculated as 42% of Searches)

PBR (Phrase-to-Broad Ratio) - The percentage of phrase-match searches out of broad-match searches for this keyword. A low values indicate there may be other word orderings
which are being searched for more. This figure is a direct comparison of the results from a phrase match search and a broad matched search.

e.g If we look at the two searches "online lottery" and "lottery online", they both have the same Broad Searches value, but "online lottery" has a PBR of 25% whilst "lottery online"
has a PBR of 16%. This means that whilst there are 5,425 searches per day that include the keywords "online" and "lottery", the number of searches per day for the phrase
"online lottery" is 1,332, whilst the number per day for "lottery online" is 891. PBR helps to determine the best order for your keywords to maximise the potential of your keywords.

Trends- This graph indicates monthly traffic trends for a particular keyword. This can be very important to take into account as it can indicate whether there is seasonal variation.

e.g.
"Christmas" Search Trends
"Online Lottery" Search Trends
"Village Cinema" Search Trends
"Support" Search Trends

Here we have four separate examples, each demonstrating a very different trend.

Christmas - Has a seasonal variation, with a single spike occuring per year. If you optimise around a keyword with a variation like this you will experience some very slim months with very few searches.

Online lottery - Has a monthly variation, with a single spike approximately the middle of each month. Trends like this are fine, they vary a relatively small amount, and when viewed as an entire month
rather than on a day by day basis the trend is far less pronounced. If you optimise around this keyword you are likely to receive a similar amount of traffic month by month, but with a larger amount of
that traffic occuring in the middle of the month.

Village Cinemas - Has a seasonal variation, similar to that of Christmas, however instead of spending most of the year with nearly no searches, the base number of searches remains relatively stable,
but spikes sharply during the school holiday periods. Optimising around this keyword would give you a stable amount of traffic, but with dramatic increases during holiday periods.

Support - Support is an excellent example of a very stable keyword with a very low amount of variation. Optimising around this keyword would generate a very steady traffic flow without peaks or troughs.

Adwords

AWT (Adwords Traffic) - The total daily traffic (clicks) that a #1 ranked Google Advertiser for a keyword might expect to receive from their ads

AWCTR (Adwords Click Through Rate) - The percentage of people who click on the #1 ranked advertiser in Google (AWT) as a percentage of total traffic for a keyword. This figure is generated from the Searches
data and Adwords Traffic (AWT) data

e.g. AWT/Searches = AWTCTR

AWCPC (Adwords Cost Per Click) - An indication of what you might expect to pay to be the #1 ranked advertiser for a particular keyword in Google - indicates the market value of individual visitors in a market. AWCPC
must be considered alongside the SEOT score for a keyword to be fully understood. AWCPC is used together with SEOT to give the SEOV score.

Competition

AWC (Adwords Competition) - A general (quantitative) benchmark indicator. It represents the number of advertisers bidding on a keyword (worldwide), and how this compares to other keywords. The higher the figure,
the more competition; the lower the figure, the less

SEOC (SEO Competition) - The total number of webpages that mention a specific keyword term, in the same (phrase) word order, in Google's index. This data is sourced from Google

SEOTC (SEO Title Competition) - The total number of webpages that mention all of the words in a keyword term in the title of the page. This data is sourced from Google

SEOLC/SEOLTC - The local equivalent of SEOC and SEOTC. Shows the competition in the country selected in the project settings

SEOTCR (SEO Title Competition to SEO Competition Ratio) - This is the ratio of SEOTC to SEOC. A low score can indicate weak competition in a market

Search Types

Broad Searches - With the match type set to 'broad match', the SEO traffic figure relates to how many people are searching for a phrase containing the words ‘trout’ and ‘fishing’ in any word order
along with additional words and then click through to visit the number one site in the search results. For example, if your keyword was 'trout fishing' then the SEOT score would
include people who used the following search phrases:

trout fishing OR
trout fishing tips OR
fly fishing for trout OR
fishing for trout from a boat
and many other variations.

Phrase Searches - With the match type set to ‘phrase match’, the SEO traffic figure relates to how many people are searching for a phrase containing the words in your keyword in their specific word
order and then click through to visit the number one site in the search results. For example, if your keyword was 'trout fishing' then the SEOT score would include people who used
the following search phrases:

trout fishing OR
trout fishing tips OR
rods for trout fishing OR
New Zealand trout fishing vacations
and many other variations.

Exact Searches - With the match type set to ‘exact match’, the SEO traffic figure relates to how many people are typing in the exact term you are researching. For example, if your keyword is ‘trout fishing’ then
the SEOT for the exact search would indicate how many people typed the exact phrase 'trout fishing' into Google and clicked through to visit the number one ranked site in the search results.

on the left hand side. It can display Internal backlinks (backlinks that occur from within the same domain), External Backlinks (backlinks that occur exclusively from other domains), or Total (the combined total of Internal and External)

BLD (Domain Backlinks) - The total number of links pointing to an entire domain (whole web-site) from outside of that web-site itself. For example the URL www.timeanddate.com has a BLD of 1,710,000, which is

idea to verify whether the IC figure is correct)
