I'm confused. The video says that "N" under Follow and Ping backs is a waste of time. In the next screen you analyze a back link on Trout Fishing in Squidoo and you recommend promoting my website.

Which is it? A waste of time or woth my time?

I believe he is saying that although Squidoo and other sites do not support \'follow\', you can still promote your website to receive visitors from the Squidoo lenses. However, Google will not follow the link to give you credit for the link back to your site.

I'm glad Brent explained that Google can be 'sensitive' about querying major forums, but what are the guidelines for using the Forums part of this module? For example, should I run a query on only one forum (of those that I can tick a box for) at a time? Should I do only one query a day? Please advise us, if possible.

I too am confused about this. Is it that on these sites you are hoping to get 'human' visitors from your link, rather than backlinks that suit the search engines?

Yep, bit confused here too. Rest of training has been great so far though! Just some clarification on how you say avoid no-follows then go on to explain how you are putting a comment and link on such a site??

    Cheers

    Alan
