Click play to watch a video describing the process of configuring Market Samurai to operate behind a proxy server.
Step 1: You receive an error connecting to the registration server
If you receive an error message indicating that there was a problem connecting to the registration server, it means that you are probably working behind a proxy server.
Step 2: Go to File -> Settings
Step 3: Click on the 'Proxies' Tab
Step 4: Check the 'Use custom HTTP proxies' checkbox
Step 5: Enter your proxy server details
In the 'Host' field, enter the IP address of your proxy server eg. 192.168.200.110
In the 'Port' field enter the port number of your proxy server eg. 3128
Step 6: Enter your authentication details
If your proxy server requires authentication, check the 'Authentication required' checkbox and enter your username and password.
Step 7: Click the 'Add' button
Clicking the 'Add' button will add your proxy server to Market Samurai's list of proxies.
Step 8: Click the 'Save' button
