How to Subscribe to the Free iTunes Feed

Video Transcript

One of the big problems with web-based training is that you usually have to be sitting in front of your computer in order to watch it.

When you’re really busy with your family, work and other commitments, it can difficult to find the time to do this.

That’s why we’ve now made all our training available via our new Noble Samurai iTunes feed.

This will allow you to access our training anytime and anywhere you like. All you need is an ipod touch, an iPhone, an Apple TV or an iPad.

In this video I’d like to show you exactly how to subscribe to our free iTunes feed.

Visit The Noble Samurai Dojo

To get started, just visit the Noble Samurai dojo at

Itune Services

Over here on the right, you’ll see a series of buttons that will allow you to subscribe to the appropriate content.

So if you want to subscribe to the PDF transcripts of our lessons, just click button (1)

If you’d like to subscribe to the videos that are suitable for an iPhone or iPod touch, click button (2)

If you’d like to subscribe to content that is suitable for the iPad, click button (3)

and if you want to subscribe to content to view via Apple TV, click button (4).

Example - Subscribing to iPhone / iPod touch Videos

For this example, I’m going to subscribe to content that is suitable for an iphone or Ipod touch.

So I’ll just come up here and click the iPhone Ready button.

I’ll then be taken to an itunes page at and a pop up window will appear that informs me that the link needs to be opened with an application.

All I have to do is (1) select iTunes as the application to use and then (2) click the OK button.

This will then open iTunes on your computer and you'll then be taken to the appropriate Market Samurai page in the iTunes Store.

To subscribe to the training feed, all you have to do is click the ‘Subscribe Free’ button.

Confirm Subscription

You’ll then be asked to confirm that you want to subscribe, so I’ll just click the Subscribe button again.

Download Lastest Episode

Itunes will then download the latest episode of training and when it is done you’ll notice that against the Podcasts icon there is a number 1 which indicates that I currently have 1 unplayed podcast.

Podcast Button

If I click on the Podcasts icon...

Podcast List

...I can see all the podcast feeds that I’ve subscribed to.

If I want to get details of the Market Samurai training feed, all I have to do is come up and click on this small arrow.

All Training Available

This will show me a list of all the training videos available.

You’ll notice that most of these episodes are grayed out to indicate that I haven’t downloaded them yet.

Get All Training Videos

If you want to download all the training that we’ve released so far, all you have to do is come up here and click the ‘GET ALL’ button.

Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, this may take a little while, so once you’ve  kicked off the download process you might want to take a break and have a cup of tea.

Sync Your iPhone OR iPod Touch

Once you’ve downloaded all the videos, the only thing left to do is connect your iPhone to your computer and Sync it to iTunes.

The big advantage of subscribing to the iTunes feed rather than manually downloading videos, is that once you’re subscribed, you’ll automatically receive any new training we publish whenever you open iTunes.

Access Training

And when you sync your device you’ll be able to catch up on the latest Market Samurai training anytime and anywhere you like :-)

What about those who are using an android (incredible) Phone. Is there any alternative to the Apple access?

When I click on the iPad version to subscribe, I get the subscription information for Apple TV. Is the link wrong?

What are my listening options if I'm not using iTunes or other products/services listed? Is there a download link to mp3 for example. or standard rss subscription.

    @Paul Smith

They're standard RSS feeds so you should be able to use other software to download them.

I do not have any type of smart phone and do not expect to ever have one. I need the tutorials for my computer. Period! How can I get them downloaded to a windows computer? Can I get them in PDF format?

@Anne - Each video on our site has download links underneath them. They also have PDF transcript links that you can download - just look on the right hand side of the page.

What a *profound* hassle. I should just be able to come to your site, and click on a video to watch/hear on my computer. This is ridiculous, except for Big Apple Ipod Podcast Users.

I AM A BUSY ENTREPRENUER. I honestly don't know when I will have time to learn each step here and jump thru all these hoops. thanks a lot- I bought your software- I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed.

@K.C.R All of our lessons have videos embedded at the top of the screen so you can listen to them on your computer. Just visit any one of them and take a look!

@Lorraine this is expected behaviour - the iPad gets a higher resolution video :)
