Hi Tom,

By "ANY of the plans" does this include 'subscribing' to the free one as this seems a little ambiguous?

Regards

Hi,

I'm currently beta testing the new rank tracker and so far it looks good.

However, I've noticed I can't export my keywords and rankings anymore.

Is this always going to be the case with the 50 keywords or less plan?

Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to post your comments Alexander.

We're really sorry you feel that way about the new Rank Tracker System.

We've tried hard to be as transparent as possible about what we're doing and why we're doing it.

Let me try and respond to the specific points you mentioned:

Google Changes
---------------

The changes made by Google which I discussed in a previous post, made it impossible for us to do large numbers of search queries on behalf of our users. As a result, we needed to find a third party data service who could provide us with the data our customers needed.

The only problem with this approach is that this data is expensive, and while we can absorb some of the cost in order to provide a usable free plan, unfortunately we cannot absorb the entire cost of this data indefinitely.

Our aim when building the new system was to try and provide the best possible free plan to our users while ensuring that the system is economically sustainable.

We think we've found a good balance between the free and paid plans which caters for over 90% of our users, but we understand that not everyone will agree.

80,000 Lines of Code
--------------------

After checking with our dev team we did discover that our claim of 80,000 lines of new code wasn't completely accurate.
When we asked our Development team how much work they had done over the last few weeks, they checked their GitHub code repository and indicated that there had been over 80,000 changes.

We interpreted this as being 80,000 lines of new code, when in fact that number relates to the total number of changes made to the code base which includes additions, and deletions.

It was not our intent to mislead anyone by using that number, we were simply trying to let people know that all the developers have been putting in very long hours in order to build the new Rank Tracker.

Other Alternatives
-------------------

You are absolutely correct in pointing out that there are other rank tracking alternatives out there. We made the decision to focus our initial efforts on the small to medium size business owner who needs to track the rankings for a small number of websites.

We think our plans measure up well, but we'd encourage everyone to do their own research and find the system that best meets their needs.

We're really sorry that you're unhappy with the current situation.

If you feel that you haven't received value from Market Samurai, we'd be more than happy to issue you with a refund. Just contact us at support@noblesamurai.com and we'll do whatever we can do to help.

Regards,
